There are a variety of barriers to youth successfully making the transition to work, ranging from a lack of particular skills, features of the job search process itself, or features of the context or environment. Regional Centre’s Foundational programs effectively prepare high-school leavers, out-of-school youth and fresh graduates for the transition to the world of work by equipping them with a set of skills required to find and keep a job that can help them improve their livelihoods. Our foundational programs also prepare them to get a credential, pass standards of the industry or trade or to get a job at the entry level.
In this course, you get the basic skills to develop applications using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), which is used primarily for the development of macros in MS Office.
Scratch is a block-based visual programming language that makes it easy for anyone to create interactive stories, games, and animations.
The course will introduce participants to tools and techniques to gather data for project/ programme outcomes to stakeholders using innovative Mobile data gathering tools. At the end of the course, you will become familiar with using ICT tools and methods to conduct data collection, statistical analysis and reporting.
This course will indeed empower you to take control of your online transactions with ease and security. The instructor led trainings are delivered using a blended learning approach and comprise of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials and group work.
