Course Description

The GRM&E Certification Program is s aimed at equipping monitoring and evaluation practitioners with skills on how to include gender as a cross-cutting issue into their projects and various components of their M&E systems, and to strengthen trainees ‘understanding of gender and M&E and how it is important in programming to be able design, plan and implement effective gender-responsive monitoring systems.

Target Participants

The Certification in Gender-Responsive Monitoring and Evaluation (GSME) course is designed for professionals working in international development, project management, program evaluation, and related fields. It is intended for staff of government and inter-governmental and non-governmental organisations, humanitarian and development practitioners, gender focal points, or academic institutions interested in gender equality. This course is equally suitable for development program managers, monitoring and evaluation officers, project coordinators, analysts, consultants, government officials, NGO staff, and researchers. It caters to individuals at different career stages, from beginners seeking foundational knowledge to experienced professionals looking to enhance their skills in monitoring and evaluation for development programs using gender lenses.

Certification Programs – (Duration-3 months): Ksh. 60,000 (Kenyans), USD 600 (Non-Kenyans)

Payment for certification programs ARE MADE IN 2 INSTALLMENTS: KES: 40,000/400USD the first day of the training, and KES: 20,000/ 200USD paid at the end of the 1^st month of course registration. Include full names and the Certification course (e.g. Marion Stephany, MEAL Program).

MasterClass Certificate Programs (Duration -2 weeks): Ksh. 25,000 (Kenyans), USD 250 (Non-Kenyans)

Payment for MasterClass certificate (MasterClass) programs ARE MADE IN 1 INSTALLMENT AT OR BEFORE THE START OF THE TRAINING. Include full names and the Certification course (e.g. Marion Stephany, CCP Program).

Foundational Course (Duration – 5 days or 30 credit hours): Ksh. 20,000 (Kenyans), USD 200 (Non-Kenyans)

Payment for Foundational programs ARE MADE IN 1 INSTALLMENT AT OR BEFORE THE START OF THE TRAINING. Include full names and the Foundational course (e.g. Marion Stephany, PP Program).
