Course Description

This course aims to give you a foundational understanding of both the purpose and role of needs assessment in humanitarian responses, coupled with practical steps on how to implement a needs assessment.

Target Participants

The Humanitarian Needs Assessment Masterclass Program is designed is for humanitarian and development aid workers in management and field-based positions (project officers/managers, program managers, country directors, grants managers etc.) who want to gain a sound understanding of the importance of needs assessment within the context of proposal writing and monitoring as well as being equipped with the technical background needed. It is also suitable for humanitarian or development professionals who are involved in managing or participate in needs assessments in the field. It will be of particular interest to anyone new to or with limited experience in needs assessments. It is also suitable for graduates beginning their career in the humanitarian sector or for those transitioning from the development sector.

Certification Programs – (Duration-3 months): Ksh. 60,000 (Kenyans), USD 600 (Non-Kenyans)

Payment for certification programs ARE MADE IN 2 INSTALLMENTS: KES: 40,000/400USD the first day of the training, and KES: 20,000/ 200USD paid at the end of the 1^st month of course registration. Include full names and the Certification course (e.g. Marion Stephany, MEAL Program).

MasterClass Certificate Programs (Duration -2 weeks): Ksh. 25,000 (Kenyans), USD 250 (Non-Kenyans)

Payment for MasterClass certificate (MasterClass) programs ARE MADE IN 1 INSTALLMENT AT OR BEFORE THE START OF THE TRAINING. Include full names and the Certification course (e.g. Marion Stephany, CCP Program).
